Macroview Fluorescence Microscopy System Installed
A new macroview fluorescence microscopy system (Olypmus MVX10) is installed with a high sensitivity CCD camera (Princeton Instrument, PIXIS) and an imaging workstation.

CRYO2005 - 42nd Annual Meeting of the Society for Cryobiology
Dr. Han attended CRYO2005 - 42nd Annual Meeting of the Society for Cryobiology at Minneapolis, MN to present his research and chaired a session (Cryosurgery II). The following research work was presented.

DOD Breast Cancer Research Program Meeting
Dr. Han attended the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program Meeting (Era of Hope) to present the results of the DOD sponsored research. The abstract of the presentation is as below,

Microscopy System Installed
A new brightfield/fluorescence microscopy system (Olympus BX51) is installed at BTPL. The microscopy system is equipped with a high resolution CCD camera (Olympus DP70) and a image processing workstation for quantitative microscopy.

UMN Cancer Center Presenation
Dr. Han presented his research on minimally invasive surgical techniques for breast cancer treatment to Breast Cancer Research Group at the University of Minnesota Cancer Center.
